Gracie’s Serves Up Delicious Specials for Thanksgiving

October 24, 2013 – PORTLAND, OR – Portlanders seeking an intimate gourmet Thanksgiving experience – or those who simply want to leave the cooking and dishes to the professionals this year – will find Chef Mark Hosack of Gracie’s in downtown Portland’s glamorous Hotel deLuxe has amped up his tempting fall small plates dinner menu with enticing holiday specials.

Available for dinner from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, November 28, 2013, these entrée-sized options present an elegant twist on iconic Thanksgiving dishes and regional favorites:

  • Roasted turkey with butternut squash bread pudding, garlic mashed potatoes, winter green beans, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce ($29.95)
  • Crab and bay shrimp stuffed salmon filet with lemon caper butter sauce, asparagus risotto, baby arugula salad ($35.95)
  • Slow roast Prime Rib of beef with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans, beef gravy, Yorkshire pudding and horseradish ($37.95)

Gracie’s fall small plates menu will also be available for Thanksgiving dinner. It showcases the very best seasonal ingredients in dishes like: pumpkin soup with sage oil and toasted pumpkin seeds ($8); grilled flatbread with bacon, dried apricot, sage, brown butter, parmesan and honey ($10); pork medallions with an herb and mustard crust, spicy red cabbage and pear and apple chutney; and the dish that earned Chef Hosack the People’s Choice award at last month’s American Lamb Jam contest in New York City, braised lamb with fruited Israeli cous cous, crispy winter greens and mint pesto ($15).
