We’ll always have Casablanca. Starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, Casablanca tells the story of an American expatriate nightclub owner (Humphrey Bogart) who morally struggles with helping his former lover (Ingrid Bergman) and her fugitive husband escape French Morocco during early World War II. This classic romantic film swept the 1944 Academy Awards with wins for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Writing – Screenplay.
Sparks ensue when a notorious French playboy (Carey Grant) and a former American lounge singer (Deborah Kerr) meet aboard a ship in An Affair to Remember. With an agreement to meet again at the Empire State Building in New York City, the pair embarks on a romance full of twists and turns.
Stylish and charming, Breakfast at Tiffany’s tells the comedic tale of an up-and-coming New York socialite (Audrey Hepburn) who charms her new, handsome neighbor (George Peppard), though her appearances are not quite as they seem.
